T-Mobile has announced that they have cut the price of the Apple iPhone in Germany. The 8GB model will receive a price cut from 399 euros down to only 99 euros ($155) to clear stock out for the impending release of the 3G iPhone.

T-Mobile put the offer up on their web site on Friday stating that the 8GB iPhone would sell for only 99 euros with a two-year contract.

The deal wil run from April 7 through June 30.

As of June 30, it is expected that Apple will discontinue the 8GB iPhone to make way for the release of the new 3G iPhone, capable of running on the faster data network.

The 16GB iPhone will remain priced at 499 euros along with a minimum 49 euros-per month two-year contract.

Apple is expected to launch the 3G iPhone in either May or June, just in time for the release of iPhone firmware update 2.0 and the App Store launch.
